HOMEOWNERSHIP

The BVCOG initiated the Homeownership Voucher program in February 2005.  Participation is limited to families that have been issued a voucher. The Homeownership program works very much like the HCVP, with the primary difference that housing assistance payments are directed to the client to help them establish wealth through increased equity.  Homeownership candidates must go through the same process as any other homebuyer plus a few additional requirements mandated by HUD and the BVCOG.
